Urban Volunteers February Bash View Larger Map So the holidays are over, and it is time to settle into a slushy grey February? "Not so!" says Urban Volunteers. Since we started up 14 months ago we have helped other nonprofits by volunteering on behalf of a wide variety of causes to benefit the Chicagoland community, including animal welfare, the environment, children, and the homeless. Urban Volunteers is on a mission to help provide volunteers to local nonprofits, while helping people in the volunteer community meet each other. Now it is time to celebrate! We are having another party at alive One, which will feature a three hour open bar of call drinks from 8-11 p.m. for $30 a person. Of that cost, aliveOne will donate $10 a head to our organization. aliveOne is conveniently located a few blocks away from the Wellington stop on the brownline. We will also hold a raffle for a few prizes donated by local vendors. For each new potential UV member you bring, you will get a raffle ticket. Urban Volunteers is for unmarried people over the age of 21 in the Chicagoland area. So come out to celebrate the help we have given in the community and meet each other!
