WHAT: We will be serving as ushers for the 8:00 p.m. showing of the play Shining City. After performing our duties, we will be able to watch the show for free. There are only five spaces left for this project.
Shining City is By Conor McPherson and Directed by Robert Falls In a Dublin psychiatrist’s office, a distraught man reveals a fantastical happening: the recent sighting of the ghost of his newly deceased wife. Thus begins this haunting, mysterious tale about two people’s searches for love, meaning and their places in the world.
ABOUT: Shining City runs one hour and 30 minutes without intermission. The Goodman Theatre was established in 1922 and is Chicago's oldest and largest not-for-profit theatre.
