Chicago's Urban Volunteers is a dedicated nonprofit group that provides local organizations with volunteers, while offering people in the volunteer community the chance to meet and network. We cater to singles (unmarried individuals) in the community by offering a wide variety of events throughout Chicagoland.

In addition to scheduling and organizing volunteer opportunities, we also host fun social activities so that we can all get to know each other and form long-lasting friendships and relationships.

WHEN: Sept. 16 @ 1:30-5:00 pm The event starts at 2:00 pm, but there will need to be a quick volunteer orientation before.

MORE ABOUT HULL HOUSE: The Jane Addams Hull House Association improves social conditions for under served people and communities by providing creative, innovative programs and advocating for related public policy reforms. Hull House Association provides child care, domestic violence counseling and prevention, economic development, family services, job training, literacy training, senior services, foster care, independent living, and housing assistance for 60,000 children, families and community members each year in communities in and around Chicago. Hull House Association also advocates for social and public policy reforms and initiatives that impact the lives of the men, women, and children in the communities we serve.

MORE ABOUT THE EVENT: We will be giving away school supplies, playing games, eating food, and enjoying the day outside. Urban Volunteers will help organize the games, distribute the school supplies, and have fun.

PARKING: There is parking in our North lot behind the building. There is street parking available as well. Finally there is a pay lot at 501 S Morgan St. It would be $6.50 to park there for the entire event.

CTA:We are just a short walk (2-3 blocks) from the Blue line UIC stop.
