WHERE: Chicago's Lincoln Park @ Cannon Drive and Stockton Drive

WHAT: We're looking for a few good men and women to join our volunteer ranks. Volunteering can be a lot of fun, plus volunteers get a great event T-shirt and enjoy the Post-Race Party.

Event registration and race packet distribution…distributing race packets, Athlete gear check…like running a coat room and Water stations…a whole lot of mixing (sports drink), pouring and handing out cups. We will be all over the place so be ready to help.

ABOUT: Joy of knowing that you will be supporting the fine work of Children’s Memorial Hospital. Rudolph will be back in town to kick off the holiday season and help brighten the lives of some very special Chicagoland youngsters. Whether you run, walk or just stand and cheer or even volunteer, you’re invited to help make spirits bright for hospitalized youngsters in need by contributing a new toy (value of $10 or more) to Children’s Memorial Hospital.

More than 2,000 toys were donated at last year’s race. Toys will be collected starting 11/23 - 12/8 at the Fleet Feet Sports Chicago (3) locations, and at the race site on Sunday (12/9). The need is great, so the more toys the merrier.

Since Children’s Memorial Hospital was founded in 1882, philanthropy has helped provide the resources to support pediatric care that is unsurpassed in quality and compassion. Children’s Memorial, its staff of fundraising professionals, affiliated organizations and volunteers work together to secure contributions that advance the mission of the hospital. To help even more, add a little “cash to the stocking” by including a donation with your race entry fee. 100% of all donations go to the hospital.
