Join us for the longest indoor stair climb in the world and help support cutting-edge cancer research. Participants start in the lobby of the Sears Tower and climb 103 stories to its famous Skydeck for the best views in Chicago and the satisfaction of having raised money to support the most brilliant and creative young scientists in the nation dedicated to finding new answers for all forms of cancer.
Since its founding in 1946, the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation has been singularly focused on identifying and encouraging extraordinary young scientists to commit themselves to arresting cancer’s devastating legacy. The Foundation is dedicated to identifying generations of truly innovative investigators in cancer research--scientists that approach questions from totally new directions, challenge existing dogma, and think "outside the box." To date, the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation has invested more than $200 million in cancer research, supporting more than 3,000 of the most gifted scientists in the nation.
